As you move through a technical degree program, nothing can be more rewarding than real world experience in your chosen or planned career. Through internship and co-op programs, students have opportunities to develop relationships, work with experts and gain experience that can help in future career choices.
|We are now accepting applications for our 2017 Internship Program. The deadline for application is midnight E.S.T., January 31, 2017.|
With an employee-centric culture and award-winning contracts, KCI may be a perfect match if you are pursuing a career in any of the following fields:
Participants in KCI’s Summer Internship/Co-op Program enjoy exciting work assignments at one of the firm’s offices throughout the eastern and central United States. Students gain exposure to real world projects and daily work tasks in a challenging and often fun environment. Experience can include office, field, design, drafting, data analysis and other tasks that prepare candidates for starting a successful career in engineering and associated fields.
KCI expects to hire more than ten summer interns or co-ops, who will work 40-hour weeks from mid-May until the end of August. Co-op students must be enrolled in their school’s co-operative education program and may receive credit for their work. Each participant will work with a supervisor and a mentor, will attend planned activities, and must submit mid-summer and end-of-summer reports. A housing stipend is available for interns whose permanent address is more than 80 miles from their reporting office.
Andrew spent three years with KCI as an intern rotating through various technical disciplines before settling in full-time as a construction manager and moving into the firm’s Emerging Leaders program.
