Floyd and Siemek join KCI Board of Directors

KCI has appointed Executive Vice President Harvey M. Floyd, PE, and Senior Vice President Joseph J. Siemek, PE, to its board of directors. Floyd is discipline manager for KCI’s companywide Transportation Discipline, while Siemek serves as operations manager for the firm’s Telecom/Utilities Discipline.

Floyd joined KCI in 1985 as a project engineer and was later promoted to vice president and chief of the Structures Division. In 1995, he was promoted to senior vice president and appointed head of KCI’s Mid-Atlantic transportation market. In 2007, Floyd was named chief client services officer, where he developed and implemented the firm’s ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management system. He was named discipline manager for transportation and promoted to executive vice president in 2010. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1978, and a master’s in business administration from Loyola University Maryland in 1989. Floyd is Chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Political Action Committee and treasurer of the Maryland Chapter’s Political Action Committee. He also serves on the board of trustees for the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

Siemek joined KCI in 2002 as head of the firm’s Maryland Public Utilities Division. He was promoted to vice president in 2003 and senior vice president in 2006. In 2010, Siemek was named operations manager for the firm’s Telecom/Utilities Discipline. He received a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 1978 and a master’s in business administration from Loyola University Maryland in 1987.
