KCI Celebrates New Office in Fulton, Md.

August 27, 2009

Sparks, MD

KCI Technologies Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices in the Northeast, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, celebrated the official opening of its new office in Fulton, Md., on August 25. Among those in attendance for the open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, who welcomed KCI to the County.

“I am pleased to welcome KCI to Howard County as they move their Laurel office to Maple Lawn,” said Howard County Executive Ken Ulman. “Terry Neimeyer and his team have an excellent reputation for quality work and community involvement and will make an excellent addition to our County’s corporate community.”

For KCI, the move to Howard County was the next logical step for the firm. As Chairman and CEO Terry F. Neimeyer explained, “Howard County is one of our top ten clients. It makes sense to locate your office space where you’re doing work.”

Members of the site, surveys, water resources, environmental engineering, and federal planning staff from the firm’s Laurel office now work out of the 10,600 square-foot office space. KCI’s public utilities personnel moved to the firm’s headquarters in Sparks, Md.
