KCI Hires Eaton as Regional Practice Leader for Transportation Structures

KCI Technologies Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices throughout the eastern United States, is pleased to announce the addition of Roger A. Eaton, PE, as the regional practice leader for transportation structures in the greater Mid-Atlantic states. Eaton will oversee the firm’s ongoing structural design efforts for clients throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Eaton brings to the firm more than 20 years of expertise in the design, management and construction of major bridge structure and roadway projects. His recent experience includes complex transportation projects, including the Hoover Dam River Bridge in Nevada, the I-495/Dulles Toll Road interchange reconstruction project in Washington, DC, and the SR 0043 (Pennsylvania Turnpike)/SR 0119 Interchange in Uniontown, Pa. Eaton contributed or coauthored sections for several industry handbooks for the American Iron and Steel Institute and the National Steel Bridge Alliance.

Eaton received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology in 1990 and is pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a professional engineer registered in California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, and is an active member of the American Society of Highway Engineers, American Institute of Steel Construction, and Association for Bridge Construction and Design.
