Clarice Smith Stormwater Management Pond

KCI prepared design plans to retrofit an existing stormwater management pond at the entrance to the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. The pond is located on a major campus entrance near the university president's house. The retrofit design improved the pond’s aesthetics and performance, and removed the need for two retaining walls that were proposed as part of the pond’s original design but were never built. The pond now features forebays, permanent water pools and pathways, allowing the facility to be used as an educational tool by students.
