Stoney Creek Local Watershed Plan – Phase IV Implementation

KCI lead the development of the EEP’s first-ever Phase IV implementation of a local watershed plan. Based on research for a study we conducted in phases one, two, and three of the Stoney Creek Local Watershed Plan, we developed a Phase IV project implementation model focused on targeted outreach as a means to achieve environmental mitigation goals. KCI prioritized potential projects, created a mutual understanding between the EEP and local residents regarding project needs, assessed landowner interest and willingness to undertake projects, and encouraged local participation in project implementation.
