KCI provided engineering services for several projects at the Sparrows Point facility, one of Severstal’s largest in the U.S. and the only fully integrated steel mill in the nation with direct ocean access. We prepared design plans to replace platforms at the sinter plant, developed site plans and performed a code review for a career development building, and designed piping for sulfuric acid at the wastewater treatment plant.
