KCI provide survey and layout services for the $72 million expansion of the central refrigeration plant in Washington, D.C. for the Architect of the Capitol, the agency entrusted with the maintenance of preservation of our nation’s capitol complex. Because the new building is an expansion of an existing facility, survey crews accurately identified the locations of existing column lines, extended through the addition, integrated into survey control, and laid out column lines for multiple floors. We also provided wall monitoring and stakeout of utilities, grading, curb and gutter.
