KCI utilized 3-D laser scanning technology to provide high-accuracy surveys for an electrical substation. The technology allowed our survey crews to safely locate the electrical components with a high level of precision. Our survey crews used calculated geometric data from the 3-D scan to layout the placement of proposed site improvements, including additional electrical components.
