Sprint/Nextel Turnkey Cell Site Hardening

Under a 14-month design-build contract, KCI provided engineering services to power harden more than 800 cell sites around Florida. Power hardening enhances network resiliency by augmenting existing sites with a backup generator. Our responsibilities included site searches, land use negotiations, surveys, civil and electrical design, utilities coordination, permitting, and environmental services.
