KCI provided surveying, engineering analysis, design and post-design services for 1.1 miles of multi-lane reconstruction. This project involves converting a heavily-congested rural two-lane arterial roadway to a four-lane urban curb and gutter section with raised median, bike lanes and sidewalks. Our team proposed an alignment shift that eliminated impacts to forested wetlands and saved the county nearly $2 million. We were also responsible for relocation of 6,800 feet of water, reclaimed water and sewer line.
