Middle Anacostia River Crossings Transportation Study

KCI conducted a detailed transportation study for the Middle Anacostia area of the District of Columbia. The purpose of the project was to reduce the adverse affects of the transportation system on the neighborhoods while increasing mobility for residents of Southeast Washington, D.C., on both sides of the Anacostia River. We conducted traffic analyses, established a comprehensive public involvement program, and developed long- and short-term improvements, including the reconstruction of three major urban interchanges and intersections.
