Chairman of the Board
Terry F. Neimeyer serves as Chairman of the Board of KCI Protection Technologies LLC. Mr. Neimeyer also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of KCI Technologies Inc. With revenues of approximately $142 million in 2007, KCI is ranked 80th among the top engineering firms in the country by the Engineering News Record. Mr. Neimeyer has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Delaware, a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from Wilmington College.
Charles A. Phillips, Jr., RPLS

Charles A. Phillips, Jr. serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of KCI Protection Technologies LLC. Mr. Phillips has over 29 years of experience on a variety of project types for both public and private sector client including municipal and institutional facilities, military and federal installations, airports and related structures, commercial buildings, highways, railroads, residential land development, demolition, and land/hydrographic surveying.
John C. Fannin III, CPP
President and Board Member
John C. Fannin III serves as President and Board Member of KCI Protection Technologies LLC. Mr. Fannin brings more than 30 years specialized experience in industrial security, fire protection engineering, life safety and risk/emergency management and has a diverse executive management background. He also serves as a corporate officer with SafePlace Corporation and Tetragon Associates LLC. A graduate of the College of Engineering of the University of Maryland, Mr. Fannin plays an integral role in international codes and standards development, serves on the Security Engineering Council of Underwriters Laboratories and assisted in the completion of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security-sponsored Risk Analysis and Management for Critical Assets Protection program. Additionally, Mr. Fannin publishes and lectures internationally and regularly provides commentary for BBC, CBS, CNN, NBC and other major media outlets, appearing frequently on television and radio.
Nathan J. Beil, PE
Board Member
Nathan J. Beil is a Board Member of KCI Protection Technologies LLC. Mr. Beil also serves as President of KCI Technologies Inc., having joined KCI in 1988 shortly after receiving his master’s degree in civil engineering. A two-time graduate of Lehigh University (bachelor and master degrees), Nate completed the Executive Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Senior Executive Institute.
Christopher J. Griffith, PE, CCM
Board Member
Christopher J. Griffith is a Board Member of KCI Protection Technologies LLC. A former officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineering Corps, Mr. Griffith also serves as Executive Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager, of KCI Technologies Inc. Mr. Griffith is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, earned master’s degrees in business administration from Boston University, civil engineering from the University of Maryland and ocean engineering from the University of Hawaii.
