KCI’s Quality Management System was approved in October by DEKRA Certification, Inc. to International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2015. Our recertification is for a three-year term and applies new risk assessment requirements to the firm. The recertification process included 30 project, process and practice audits conducted among offices in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, DC. KCI’s ISO 9001:2015 certification also covers construction management and engineering practices in 20 states.
DEKRA’s lead auditor identified that KCI’s strengths included excellent teamwork, knowledgeable project managers, well-trained staff, quality driven practices, and a customer focus.

ISO 9001:2015 requires firms to meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and to enhance customer satisfaction through the application of processes for continual improvement of the Quality Management System. KCI meets the requirement by conducting audits, soliciting client feedback, and by monitoring projects at all phases—from proposal go/no go decisions to project closeout.
