Topographic Surveys

The accurate location of physical features, vegetation and surface elevations are critical to the successful design and construction of any project. KCI survey crews use myriad state-of-the-art equipment to efficiently locate buildings and/or structures, utilities, paved areas, ditches, vegetation and other physical features through the use of on-board and off-board data collectors. Surface elevations are collected for use in creating a digital terrain model of the site. Our equipment includes the latest electronic total stations with pulse laser capability, robotic total stations and a significant investment in Global Positioning System (GPS)/Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) network capabilities and software in an effort to ensure the most efficient means of data collection, processing and plan preparation.
