KCI’s professional engineers have extensive experience performing preliminary and final design on bridges ranging from small culverts for local roadways to dual, multi-span steel and concrete structures with architectural treatments and decorative lighting. Our team of bridge design experts includes National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS)-certified inspectors ready to conduct detailed, hands-on evaluations to document the structural condition for vehicular, pedestrian, and railroad bridges of varying complexity. We also understand that the underwater environment can be harsh on structures, and our in-house Association of Diving Contractors-certified engineers inspect the condition of submerged structures firsthand.

Engineering and land surveying services provided in North Carolina are performed by our associated entity, KCI Associates of North Carolina, P.A.

We employ state-of-the-art data collection systems and computer modeling software to enhance our nation’s transportation infrastructure.
