People (Summer 2003)

In June, W. Stan Hicks, PE, joined KCI as head of the company’s Norcross, GA, Office, located just outside of Atlanta. Hicks brings more than 20 years of experience in highway design and construction to the position.

Terry F. Neimeyer, PE (Chair) and Samuel J. Trinca have been named to the 2003-04 Board of Directors for KCI Wireless Services, Inc., a sister company of KCI Technologies, Inc., ranked 11th among the top 20 Telecommunication firms in the country by Engineering News Record magazine.

A Legend Retires

After 32 years of service to KCI, Bill Franswick retired earlier this year as executive vice president and corporate secretary. While his exemplary role in the engineering profession and in the communities in which he worked may be reflected in numerous national honors, Bill’s greatest contribution has been felt on a more personal level by members of his KCI family, who know him as a friend, colleague, and mentor.

In one of his first official acts of retirement, Bill agreed to serve as a Trustee of KCI’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan, so we look forward to his continued guidance and to a few more good fish stories in the near future.
