What to Expect as KCI Intern or Co-Op

Participants of KCI’s Summer Internship/Co-op Program enjoy interesting work assignments at one of the firm’s offices in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic or Southeast. Students gain exposure to real world projects and daily work tasks in a challenging and often fun environment. Experience can include office, field, design, drafting, data analysis and other tasks that prepare candidates for starting a successful career in engineering or associated fields.

KCI expects to hire more than ten summer interns or co-ops, who will work 40-hour weeks from mid-May until the end of August. Co-op students must be enrolled in their school’s co-operative education program and may receive credit for their work. Each participant will work with a supervisor and a mentor, will attend planned activities, and must submit mid-summer and end-of-summer reports. A housing stipend is available for interns whose permanent address is more than 80 miles from their reporting office.
