Community Service (Winter 2001)

This Fall, seven employees from KCI’s Tampa Office volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to build two homes for low-income families in Hillsborough County, FL. The homes are funded with community donations and then sold at cost to families through a no-interest mortgage.

Since April, KCI’s employee-owners have donated more than $14,000 to the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House, one of 206 in 19 countries that provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
