In January, KCI’s board of Directors approved the promotion of Joseph J. Siemek, PE, to vice president. Siemek is chief of Public Utilities in the Mid-Atlantic Region and manages the Public Utilities Divisions in Hunt Valley and Laurel, MD, as well as the region’s Subsurface Utilities Engineering Division.
The Board also installed new trustees of KCI’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan or ESOP. Terry F. Neimeyer, PE (Chair); Nathan J. Beil, PE; William E. Franswick, PE; Amy E. Lambert; Charles A. Phillips, Jr., RPLS; and Thomas G. Sprehe, PE, will serve through December 2004.
Senior Vice President Harvey M. Floyd, PE, head of the Transportation Group for the Mid-Atlantic Region, joined KCI’s Board of Directors in January.
In March, KCI’s Mid-Atlantic Environmental Planning Division implemented a restructuring plan, creating an Environmental Planning & Technology Division, managed by Brian A. Bernstein, AICP; and an Environmental Design & Construction Management Division, managed by Richard P. Pfingsten, PWS.
Ingrid Stenbjørn, PE, has assumed leadership of KCI’s environmental engineering operations in Richmond, VA. Stenbjorn, who joined KCI in early 2001, brings more than 18 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering to the position.
