Awards (Fall 2004)

On October 5th, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce inducted KCI President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board Terry F. Neimeyer, PE into the Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame. The award “honors businesses and their dynamic leaders who enhance the quality of life in Baltimore County.”

In August, the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) presented KCI with its 2003 Outstanding Special Project Award, recognizing KCI’s Al Jannette, Dan Bolt, and Tom Wyatt for their construction inspection work during emergency repairs following Tropical Storm Henri. DelDOT’s Director of Transportation Solutions and Chief Engineer, Carolann Wicks explained, “Your company’s achievement speaks volumes about dedication to innovation and excellence…. What better recognition than from those who work side-byside with you, who join me in thanking you for a job well done. Your work stands for quality, and emphasizes the importance of effective and efficient service.”

Eastern High SchoolThe National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) has awarded KCI Technologies its 2004 Award of Excellence for Best Historical Renovation. The award recognizes KCI’s “outstanding civil engineering and landscape architectural work performed on the historic renovations at Eastern High School,” on behalf of Johns Hopkins Real Estate. KCI Vice President and Site Engineering Division Chief Paul D. Crampton managed the project.
