In September, Michael Z. Yang, Ph.D., PE, joined KCI as an associate and head of the Mid- Atlantic Region’s Geotechnical Discipline within the Geo- Environmental Division. Michael brings 18 years of experience working with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Departments of Transportation and has written numerous papers and delivered presentations at conferences throughout the United States, Canada, and China.
Following the promotion of Thomas G. Sprehe, PE, to Environmental Market Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region, Timothy W. Wolfe, PE, assumed leadership of the region’s Environmental Engineering Division. Wolfe, who joined KCI in 1998, has served for more than 23 years as a project engineer and manager. In his new role, he oversees the work of 15 employees, delivering innovative water and wastewater engineering design solutions.
Roy Ziegler, PLS, has been named Chief of Surveys for KCI’s Newark, DE, Office.
During the past year, KCI has promoted the following individuals to the position of senior associate: Gregory K. McKnight, PSM (Surveying Division, Tampa, FL); Gary M. Mryncza, PH (Environmental Planning, Raleigh, NC); Robert Siegfried (Environmental Planning and Design, Richmond, VA); and Peter J. H. Thomson, PE (Environmental Engineering, Hunt Valley, MD).
Eddie Bishop, PE (Carolinas CEI), Joseph Garceau, PE (Senior Program Manager), and Annie (Kathy) Lassiter, PE (Transportation Engineering) have joined KCI’s Raleigh Office as senior associates.
