People (Summer 2000)

Alex M. Shojaei, PE, has been named assistant division chief & chief mechanical engineer of the Mechanical & Electrical Division. Since joining KCI in December 1999, Alex has helped expand M&E’s operations and is serving as project manager on an infrastructure redesign for the high-profile Celera Genomics headquarters facility in Rockville, MD.

KCI’s Board of Directors promoted Darryl Kroeze, PE, manager of the Tampa, FL, Office, to vice president.

In May, Jill M. Spiess Cutler, PE, assumed leadership of the company’s new Streetsboro, OH, Office. Previously, Jill worked as a project manager in Philadelphia.

James C. Lockhart, PE, was appointed head of KCI’s Pittsburgh, PA, Office in late 1999. In 1997, Jim retired from PennDOT with 30 years of service.

Tristram E. Madden, PE, (Environmental Engineering Division) joined KCI in April. An engineer and geologist, Tris brings experience in remedial investigation, design, and construction for the Department of Defense, State transportation agencies, and private clients.
