KCI’s Board of Directors has elevated Terry F. Neimeyer, PE, to the position of chairman. Terry, the company’s president and chief executive officer, replaces past chairman, Jack Kinstlinger, PE, who remains as chairman emeritus.
In other action, the board appointed two new outside members, Edward D. Burger, PE, (a former senior vice president at Whiting-Turner) and Mary Chambers Hopewell, director of the Health and Human Services Sector of Titan AverStar.
The board also approved the promotions of six new vice presidents: from the Raleigh, NC, Office, James M. Gellenthin (Surveys Division manager) and Joseph J. Pfeiffer, Jr. (environmental sciences manager); from the Harrisburg, PA, Office, Lisa M. Brozey (environmental sciences manager) and Leonard R. Smith, Jr., PE (Structures Division manager); and from the Hunt Valley, MD, Office, Paul D. Crampton (Site Engineering Division manager) and John J. Leslie (Public Utilities Division manager).
Simon H. Cheng, PE, has been named chief of the Raleigh Engineering Division and promoted to senior associate. Frank J. Lucas, PE, joined KCI as head of the Electrical Engineering Division and was named a senior associate.
