On June 22, CEC/MD installed Terry F. Neimeyer, PE, as President for 2001-02.
KCI Vice President James W. Blake, PE, is serving on the Procurement Advocacy Committee of the American Consulting Engineers Council and is chairing the Program Committee and working on the Transportation Committee of the North Carolina CEC. Jim also is a member of the Citizen’s Energy Advisory Commission for Wake County, NC.
Alan Schlindwein of KCI’s Environmental Planning Division has earned certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
From January 15-26, KCI hosted a session of the National Highway Institute’s Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course. More than 20 people attended the course, which fulfills National Bridge Inspection Standards training requirements.
