HUNT VALLEY, MD, September 10, 2008—KCI Technologies Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices in the Northeast, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, has promoted Jeffrey R. Weis, PE, to division chief of its Northeast Site and Facilities Division.
Weis will be expanding KCI’s mechanical/electrical and site/civil engineering services, which are well established in the Mid-Atlantic market, to clients in the firm’s Northeast Region, focusing heavily on New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
“Jeff is driven to succeed,” says Northeast Regional Manager Jeffrey C. Lookup, PE. “His determination and expertise has already helped us expand our services lines in New York. He was instrumental to our project wins with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, at Fort Drum.”
For 15 years Weis has provided project management, facility design and construction management services for projects ranging from federal and municipal buildings to corporate facilities. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering in 1992 from Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y. He operates out of KCI’s Rochester, N.Y., office.
