Robert R. Milne, PE, Joins KCI Technologies

Engineer will head KCI’s Morgantown, WV, Office

HUNT VALLEY, MD—KCI Technologies, Inc., an engineering firm with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, has named Robert R. Milne, PE, to head the company’s West Virginia Office. Milne has managed and designed plans for major bridges and transportation corridors throughout the State of West Virginia.

” West Virginia is pursuing innovative and environmentally responsible transportation programs, and KCI will continue its role in helping WVDOT translate good ideas into safe and efficient highway designs,” said Senior Vice President, Northeast Region, Scott Sternberger. “Rob is a long-time resident and knows the region well. He’s worked on high-visibility projects, and he recognizes the importance of designing systems that can accommodate future needs while taking into account the day-to-day concerns of working communities.” In his new role at KCI, Milne will work with West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio clients on highway design, environmental, cultural resource, and construction management and inspection projects. Milne said, “This region offers great opportunities for engineers, planners, and scientists. We see room for growth in all sectors, especially in providing designs for environmental, water/wastewater, and mechanical/electrical systems.”

Milne earned bachelor and master of science degrees in civil engineering from West Virginia University in 1990 and 1999, respectively. He lives in Morgantown.
