Tammy M. Jones Joins KCI Technologies Inc.

New Director Of Human Resources To Help Lead Company Growth

HUNT VALLEY, MD—KCI Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Tammy M. Jones as its new Director of Human Resources. Jones, who has 15 years experience, replaces Eileen Edwards who will retire April 7 after 20 years with KCI.

“We’re very excited to have someone on board with experience at large corporations including Fila U.S.A., Inc., and Black & Decker,” KCI President and CEO Terry Neimeyer, PE said. “I’m happy to have that skill set brought to KCI to give us a fresh perspective of HR that we will surely need as we expand to 1500 people by 2009.”

As Human Resources Director, Jones will manage four full-time and one part-time employees, streamline processes and procedures, look for improved efficiences and cost savings, and participate as a strategic partner with the management team.

“I’m excited to be here,” Jones said. “It’s a new industry for me to work in and I’m amazed at the length of tenure of the employees that I have met so far. That really says a lot about the company.”

Jones looks forward to contributing to KCI’s success and has ambitious goals for her involvement. “My short term goal is to implement a formal college internship recruitment program and to go out this fall to campuses with the ultimate goal of having interns here at KCI in the Summer of 2006,” she said.

Before joining KCI on March 21, Jones worked from 2000-2005 at Fila U.S.A., Inc., in Sparks, MD as Vice President for Human Resources and Director of Employee Relations and Training. As Vice President, she was responsible for all facets of human resources management including benefits and HRIS and payroll. She also was a key member of a team in the acquisition of Fila Holding S.p.A. by Sport Brands International, L.L.C.

Prior to Fila, Jones was Human Resources Manager at Cadillac Plastic in Troy, MI from 1997- 2000, where her accomplishments included managing the startup of a new area distribution center. From 1990-1997 Jones worked for Black & Decker Inc., in Towson, MD. In her last stint there, she played a valuable role in the expansion of the college recruitment program for the sales and marketing groups within the Power Tools division.

Jones graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in human services administration from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore. She holds a PHR certification from the Society of Human Resource Management and is an active member of Chesapeake Human Resources Association.
