KCI Targets Hampton Roads as Strategic Growth Area

HUNT VALLEY, MD—KCI Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Lewis White & Associates (LWA) in Virginia Beach. KCI has identified the Hampton Roads region as a strategic growth area and will maintain the existing LWA Virginia Beach location as its regional service center.
Lewis White PE will head the Virginia Beach office, now KCI Lewis White & Associates, continuing his 30-plus year enterprise in the Hampton Roads market. “We want to be one of the leaders in cleaning up the Chesapeake Bay in the Hampton Roads area through water and wastewater rehabilitation and stormwater management,” White said.
White received a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from Virginia Military Institute in 1968. He was commissioned in the Army Corps of Engineers from May 1969 to May 1972 and was stationed with the Norfolk District Corps of Engineers, where he was assigned to the water resources planning branch and the regulatory branch in operations divisions. Prior to joining KCI, White worked for 24 years as head of Lewis White & Associates, where he became recognized as an expert for drainage in Hampton Roads and Southeastern Virginia.
KCI Lewis White & Associates will offer water, sewer, and storm sewer design; natural environmental planning and design; site planning and development design; stormwater and drainage design; permitting; and project management services.
In addition, KCI Lewis White & Associates is locally staffed with professionals in disciplines including civil and site engineering; stormwater management; and wireless telecommunications.
