HUNT VALLEY, MD, February 16, 2007—KCI Technologies Inc., a Maryland-based consulting engineering firm with offices in the Northeast, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, has promoted Franklin R. Snyder, P.E., to vice president. The head of the firm’s mechanical and electrical division, Snyder was hired by KCI in August, 2004, and has expanded the services of the division to include building commissioning, fire protection engineering, and plumbing engineering. He has also added a new office in southern Pennsylvania.
With more than 20 years of experience, Snyder has developed a strong foundation of federal, educational, and municipal clients for KCI’s mechanical and electrical division. He has managed and designed projects for numerous public and private clients, including the federal government and the public school systems in Baltimore County and the District of Columbia.
“Frank has rebuilt the mechanical and electrical division while servicing our clients in the Mid-Atlantic region” says Senior Vice President Charles A. Phillips, RPLS. “He has focused on providing a high level of customer service, hiring quality staff and expanding service offerings to grow the M&E Division into a key contributor to the company.”
Snyder received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Pennsylvania State University in 1992. He is a member of the Building Commissioning Association. He resides in Dallastown, PA.
