FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HUNT VALLEY, MD, JUNE 27, 2007—KCI Technologies Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices in the Northeast, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, has hired Jeffrey C. Lookup, P.E., to manage its Northeast Region. Lookup, formerly COO for Rochester, New York-based Erdman Anthony & Associates, will oversee the expansion of KCI’s service offerings and geographic reach in the Northeast. He will operate out of the firm’s regional headquarters in Harrisburg, PA.

KCI’s Northeast Region has built a solid reputation in the transportation market, where its top clients include the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. While the firm plans to maintain a strong transportation presence in this region, it will extend its transportation services, along with its other core business lines—environmental and site engineering, construction management, and telecommunications—to clients as far north as Maine.

“We’re thrilled to have Jeff on board,” said KCI President Nathan J. Beil, P.E. “Having someone of his caliber who has worked with state, federal and private clients across multiple markets in the Northeast will help us to diversify our business in this part of the country. I have no doubt that KCI and its clients will benefit greatly from his leadership.”

For 24 years Lookup has provided infrastructure engineering, and construction and support services for site development, buildings, transportation and telecommunications. As the COO at Erdman Anthony, Lookup oversaw operations in all five offices in the firm’s Northeast Region. In addition, he served as the company’s principal in charge of corporate sales and as federal markets program manager, where he developed relationships with clients such as the Army Corps of Engineers, the General Services Administration, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, and the Coast Guard.

Lookup received a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering in 1983 from Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y. A current member of the executive board and a past president for the American Public Works Association (Monroe/Genesee Valley Branch), he is also a member of the Society of American Military Engineers, the American Council of Engineering Companies, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers and the New York State Qualifications Based Selection Council.

Lookup replaces Senior Vice President R. Scott Sternberger, who remains with KCI as the firm’s corporate practice leader for NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) services, focusing his technical expertise on such fast-tracked projects as the PA Route 41 Corridor Improvement Project.
