FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HUNT VALLEY, MD, NOVEMBER 1, 2007—The Zweig Letter has ranked KCI Technologies Inc.,a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices in the Northeast, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, 117 on their Hot Firm 2007 List, which ranks the fastest-growing architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms in the U.S. and Canada.
The annual list features the design and environmental firms that have outperformed the economy and competitors to become industry leaders. This year ZweigWhite expanded the list from 100 to 200 firms, with 50 more receiving honorable mention.
The ranking is based on a weighted average of each firm’s dollar growth and percentage growth from 2003 to 2006. Firms on the list range in size from $2.6 million to $900 million in 2006 revenue. KCI’s revenue grew from $82 million in 2003 to more than $123 million in 2006, helping the firm grow 51 percent over three years.
“The firms that made this year’s Hot Firms List should be proud,” says Mark Zweig, founder and director of ZweigWhite. “Even with the increase of 100 firms on the list to 200, it was still an incredibly competitive and successful group.”
The complete Hot Firm List will be published in the November 26 issue of The Zweig Letter.
