The Lexington Park Library project involved new construction of a 26,000 square foot library and site improvements of a five-acre site. It replaced the existing 10,000 square foot Lexington Park Library which services 30 percent of the entire St. Mary’s County population. KCI served as the all-inclusive point of contact including coordination of moving the library collection from the existing library to the new library with minimum disruption in service, and the transition of utility, communication, and trash services from the existing site to the new library.
