Situated on a 100-acre tract of land near the Middle River area of Baltimore County, Victory Villa was once a thriving 400-home community built in the 1940s to temporarily house military families. Over the past 65 years, the property has fallen into disrepair. With the relocation of former residents, KCI is working with the builder and developer on this urban revitalization project to turn this eyesore into a desirable address.

When complete, the Miramar Landing project will include 152 single-family homes, 588 townhouses in four designs, and a 100-unit senior center with a large open field across from it. A walking trail will encircle Glenmar Elementary School, which is located in the middle of the site.

This project brings with it certain challenges. Due to high demand for housing in the County, the project is being completed on an aggressive schedule. In addition, the elementary school provides a challenge since all work must be completed in such a way as to allow the school to continue to function while work is being done on the site around it.
