Adam Rickey, PE, CPD, is a vice president and regional practice leader for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing practice in the Mid-Atlantic. He is responsible for the management and oversight of all projects from the conceptual phase through construction and commissioning. He coordinates and manages all primary and support disciplines, including MBE subconsultants, for compliance with set goals. Adam has performed extensive field surveys, system analyses, energy studies, and cost estimating services. Through his career, he has worked on a wide variety of buildings including institutional, commercial, laboratory, health care (including operating rooms, imaging and pharmacy), as well as many government facilities (including SCIF areas and construction).
Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a registered professional engineer and a Certified Plumbing Designer. Adam is a director of the American Council of Engineering Companies Coalition of American Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
