Adam Rickey is a vice president and discipline manager for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing practices across the country. Adam directs the design, and construction administration on projects ranging from complete building renovations to new construction of and specialized facilities, higher education and healthcare institutions, transportation and specialized lighting, and sustainable design including solar and electric vehicles. Through his career, he has worked on a wide variety of buildings including institutional, commercial, laboratory, healthcare (including operating rooms, imaging and pharmacy), as well as many government facilities (including SCIF areas and construction). Adam has extensive experience with sustainable design using LEED rating tools, and is familiar with BIM and Revit applications as well as performance in field surveys, system analyses, energy studies, and cost estimating services.
Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a registered professional engineer and a Certified Plumbing Designer. Adam is a director of the American Council of Engineering Companies Coalition of American Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
