Debbie Cranford is a construction inspector and office engineer for KCI’s Construction Management Discipline. She enrolled in the KCI Inspector Certification Program before joining the firm and found she both enjoyed and had the fundamental aptitudes necessary for success in her newly chosen occupation. Since then, Debbie has earned several certifications, including Erosion & Sediment Control- Maryland Green card and Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration Yellow card, American Concrete Institute Concrete Field Testing Tech, Temporary Traffic Control Traffic Manager, MARTCP Pavement Markings, MARTCP Concrete Field and MARTCP HMA Field. In addition, she is a NACE Coatings Inspector, Level 1 Certified, and holds a certificate in construction management while working on finishing her associate’s degree.
Her construction inspection experience includes area-wide paving contracts, rapid-set concrete patching, streetscape projects, stormwater management and landscaping projects, as well as bridge cleaning and painting projects. She processes all of the Inspector Daily Reports and completes all of the monthly estimates and materials clearance as office engineer, and has served as assistant project engineer. Debbie also works with the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration district staff and contractors to keep everything running smoothly.
