Debbie Pfeil is a senior project manager and planner with expertise working in comprehensive planning, municipal administration, code enforcement, zoning/subdivision regulations, fee analysis, design standards, board/commission/staff training, public participation, private/public partnerships, grant writing, and development plan reviews. Debbie’s experience includes managing a master green initiatives concept plan that included public/private partnerships as well as organizing all public outreach and education. She has also managed comprehensive drainage and stormwater plans as well as healthy community action plans, created multiple comprehensive plans, and served as town planner for multiple municipalities. She also offers municipal clients expertise in obtaining grant monies from the state agencies and non-profits.
Debbie is a member of the National American Planning Association, Lower Delaware-Maryland Building Officials Association, Delaware Building Officials Association, and Delaware League of Local Governments. She also serves on the executive board of the American Planning Association Delaware Chapter, the Delaware Rural Water Association conference committee and as a committee chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Delaware. Debbie has been honored with several awards from the Maryland General Assembly, the Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot’s office and Maryland Governor Larry Hogan for assisting the Eastern Shore Association of Municipalities (ESAM) Chapter of Maryland Municipal League and her ongoing service in the region over the past decade.
