Scott Lang is an executive vice president and transportation market leader. After retiring from the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps in 1999, Scott Lang joined KCI as a professional engineer and diver in the company’s Marine Structures and Diving Division. In 2000 he assumed leadership of the Construction Management Division, where he was responsible for several multimillion-dollar projects. In 2002, Scott was promoted to vice president, and in 2006 to senior vice president and appointed head of the Mid-Atlantic Construction Management group, before being assigned his current role as discipline manager. In 2016, he was promoted to executive vice president, and in 2018 to transportation market leader. He has extensive experience in project management, design management, facilities operations and maintenance, and construction contracting.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cornell University and his master’s degree in ocean engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas and a certified construction manager.
