Ransford Addei, PE, is a geotechnical engineer with expertise in subsurface explorations, detailed soil and material engineering analysis, geotechnical design and construction recommendations, and geotechnical engineering reports. His project experience has involved shallow and deep foundations, ground improvements, slope stabilization, stormwater management ponds, dams, retaining walls, support of excavations, horizontal directional drilling, as well as pavement design for residential, commercial and government facilities. Ransford also has a solid background in construction inspection quality control and construction material testing including field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, aggregates and asphalt.
Ransford earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering from the University of Maryland. He also is a registered professional engineer in several states. Ransford is also a U.S. Army Reservist.
