What to Expect as a KCI Intern
Participants in KCI’s Summer Internship Program enjoy exciting work assignments at one of the firm’s offices throughout the eastern and central United States. Students gain exposure to real world projects and daily work tasks in a challenging and often fun environment. Experience can include office, field, design, drafting, data analysis and other tasks that prepare candidates for starting a successful career in engineering and associated fields.
KCI expects to hire more than ten summer interns, who will work 40-hour weeks from mid-May until the end of August. Each participant will work with a supervisor and a mentor, will attend planned activities, and must submit mid-summer and end-of-summer reports. A housing stipend is available for interns whose permanent address is more than 50 miles from their reporting office.
