KCI’s Leadership in ASCE Tech Talks 2021 on Behalf of UESI

Shah Rahman, MBA, M.ASCE, and Alan Foster, GISP, IAM, are participating in the ASCE Tech Talks 2021 virtual conference that features “the best of the best from ASCE’s Institutes & Technical Groups.” Tech Talks 2021 is part of the ASCE Virtual Convention and consists of a 6-week series of technical presentations that runs from October 12 through November 16. Shah has been instrumental in the conception and coordination of two individual sessions on behalf of the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI). The first one will be a panel discussion on Asset Management and Buried Pipelines Resiliency and Maintenance; the second is on ASCE’s Utility-related Standards and the Legal Implications. Alan Foster will be giving a presentation in the first session entitled “Vista Ridge Regional Supply Project: Asset Inventory Collection & CMMS Creation During Construction,” where he will focus on discussing KCI’s role in the largest P3 water infrastructure project in North America at the San Antonio Water System (SAWS), completed in April 2020. Other speakers in the session will include Nancy Wigner, P.E., Manager of Project Planning and Development with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), and Kathleen Price, P.E., Division Manager for Asset Management and Engineering Operation Support with SAWS
