Nationwide Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit compliance may include the management of six Minimum Control Measures (MCMs). The MCMs include the management of public education and outreach on stormwater impacts, public involvement and participation, illicit discharge detection and elimination (IDDE), construction site stormwater runoff control, post-construction stormwater management, and pollution prevention and good housekeeping. Compliance for the MCMs depends on the understanding of the permit reporting requirements, identifying activities to meet the requirements, and is achievable through efficient data management. Presenters discussed the compliance requirements of the MCMs, effective methods for collecting and managing the associated data, and methods for tracking compliance efforts.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Explain the requirement to meet the permit compliance for the six MCMs outlined in NPDES Stormwater Discharge Permits.
- Describe strategies to meet permit compliance requirements.
- Discuss innovative tools and workflows to assist with data collection and management.
- Provide demonstration related to applications, tools, and workflows that support data collection, tracking, and reporting.
