The American Council of Engineering Companies of Maryland recognized the Inter-County Broadband Network (ICBN) with an engineering excellence honor award at their annual awards banquet, held on February 20 in Baltimore.

ICBN is a fiber-optic network that connects nine jurisdictions with affordable, accessible high-speed broadband access. Its creation places Maryland among the nation’s leaders in statewide telecommunications and sets the stage for advancement in inter-governmental communication cooperation and efficiency.
