May 3, 2022 | Announcements

KCI is pleased to announce that Kerrie Boyette, PE, has been promoted to transportation regional practice leader in the firm’s Duluth, Georgia, office.

In this role, she will identify new opportunities, continue to cultivate a relationship with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), develop new service lines and expand the practice throughout the state.

Over her 23-year career, Kerrie has established herself as an industry leader and has been named among the top 100 influential women by Engineering Georgia. Throughout her tenure, she has both managed and been actively involved in projects that feature highway design, bridge design, NEPA, traffic engineering, drainage design, erosion and sedimentation control plans, signing and marking plans, and stormwater analysis. With a successful track record of managing large teams of multiple subconsultants and both internal and external resources, Kerrie’s comprehensive transportation engineering knowledge has enabled her to lead on-call contracts with clients such as GDOT, Gwinnett County, and the City of Johns Creek.

“Kerrie has been a respected name in transportation for many years and has successfully grown the practice throughout the region. I am confident that she will continue to foster strong relationships with our partners in Georgia and beyond.”

– Erick Fry, PE, Vice President and Transportation South Discipline Manager

Boyette earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer in five states in addition to her team being prequalified in numerous GDOT area classes. She is a member of WTS and the American Council of Engineering Companies/Georgia and will graduate from ACEC’s Engineering Leadership Academy in May. She also currently serves on the Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality Subcommittee for Program Delivery.
