KCI Technologies Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices throughout the eastern and central United States, welcomes Michael W. Burcham, PLS, as the Regional Practice Leader for surveys throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. His focus will be on growing the practice’s presence in the Pennsylvania and Delaware markets.
Burcham has more than 28 years of industry experience. Working with McCrone Inc. since 1986, he climbed the corporate ladder from survey technician to president. During that time, he also became a respected leader in the Mid-Atlantic region, contributing to both professional and personal communities. Burcham’s career focused on business growth, maintaining client relationships and increasing operational efficiency.
Mike comes to KCI with excellent experience and leadership capabilities. He has established business and community connections throughout the Mid-Atlantic and can help our survey practices grow into more geographies, with a more diverse client base and supporting new markets.

Burcham earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Wilmington University, and an associate of arts in engineering drafting and design from Delaware Technical and Community College. He is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Burcham is a member of the business advisory council at Cecil College, and previously served on the board of directors for the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce and as chapter chair for the Maryland Society of Surveyors. Over the years, he has been a member of or contributed to multiple professional organizations including the Home Builders Associations of Delaware and Maryland, Delaware Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors; and NAIOP Maryland, a commercial real estate development association.
