President and Chief Operating Officer Christopher Griffith, PE, CCM, was recently inducted into the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) College of Fellows.
The College of Fellows selection committee acknowledged his significant contributions to the profession and to CMAA during the Philadelphia induction ceremony in September. This designation is one of the highest honors that the organization can bestow on an individual.
Griffith joined KCI in 1997 after serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps. Since that time, Griffith has been instrumental in leading many of KCI’s core business lines, earning the titles of Chief Operating Officer in 2017 and President in 2021. He has served as a former board member for the CMAA and chaired their Standards of Practice/Professional Development Committee, where he became involved in training the next generation of industry leaders.
“The selection committee has made outstanding choices for this year’s inductees,” said CMAA President and CEO Andrea Rutledge, CAE. “These individuals have a clear commitment to CMAA’s success promoting the profession of construction management and the use of qualified construction managers on projects and programs.”
Founded in 1982, CMAA has been a leader in establishing standards for construction management projects across the country while also encouraging members to share industry knowledge and network with one another. To further the mission and purpose of the CMAA, the College of Fellows strives to include a diverse community of industry leaders that assist in shaping the future of the association.
