Working with the Cumberland River Compact, last month our team helped remove the Sevenmile Dam in Nashville, Tennessee. Featured in the local news, this cinder block structure was taken down to help protect the endangered Nashville crayfish by allowing them to move more freely up and down the creek. Before construction began, biologists and volunteers helped relocate over 500 crayfish into a safer part of the stream.
