KCI Welcomes John C. Helwig as Senior Asset Management Consultant

KCI welcomes John C. Helwig, PE, CMRP, as senior asset management consultant and project manager. His responsibilities include program development and implementation, strategic planning support, workshops and training facilitation, asset management plans and identification of new opportunities for growth.

Helwig’s wide range of expertise involves evaluating and enhancing maintenance programs; mapping of capital, corrective, and preventative workflows; modeling asset deteriorating and lifecycle costs; and advising on asset management strategy. Prior to joining KCI, he provided consulting and strategic advisory services for public and private sector clients. Throughout his 17-year career, Helwig has completed projects ranging from direct software application to serving as a strategic advisor to upper management. He was instrumental in implementing a strategy for a five-year watershed asset management program in the municipal market that saved the client more than $10 million in operating costs, and has also won multi-million dollar contracts with transportation agencies to provide ongoing planning services.

John brings a complementary skillset to KCI’s existing asset management staff and a tenacity to boost our market growth. He embraces new, more effective technology for traditional processes, and we are excited to have him join our team.
