KCI is pleased to announce that William R. Roberts has joined the firm as Chief Administrative Officer. His responsibilities in this new role include overseeing administrative practices, facilitating integration during acquisitions and participating in top-level decision making. He will be instrumental in defining the position and further developing the organization.
Bill’s career spans more than four decades beginning with a small telecommunications company (C&P Telephone Co) that later became Verizon. Moving from a business office manager position to increasingly higher executive roles, he gained experience working in marketing, consumer affairs, operations, public policy and government relations. As president and CEO of the Mid-Atlantic region, Bill was responsible for overseeing all Verizon operations, including more than 15,000 employees throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia.
I’ve known Bill for years first as a client and then through the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. He has become a trusted peer, advisor and leader. His wealth of knowledge, outstanding citizenship and hands-on business expertise will help us tune our administrative departments to best serve our projected growth over the next five years and beyond.
