G. Scott Lang, PE, CCM

After retiring from the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps in 1999, Scott Lang joined KCI as a professional engineer and diver in the company’s marine structures and diving division. In 2000 he assumed leadership of the construction management division, where he was responsible for several multimillion-dollar projects, including construction management and inspection services at Rockville Town Center, McKinley High School and the Elm Road Parking Garage at BWI Airport. In 2002, Lang was promoted to vice president, and in 2006 to senior vice president and appointed head of the Mid-Atlantic construction management group. He now serves as corporate practice leader for construction management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cornell University and a master’s in ocean engineering from Texas A&M.
